WELCOME TO PACIFIC ENERGY

Connected Energy

Bringing our vertically integrated model to Australia's east coast

Pacific Energy’s Connected Energy division leverages our unique, full-service delivery model to support green hydrogen projects nationally, and deliver stand-alone power systems, battery storage systems and renewable energy systems to the National Electricity Market (NEM), east coast isolated networks and the mobility sector.

The Connected Energy division is one of Australia’s leading turnkey delivery partners for green hydrogen production and refuelling facilities, with over a decade of unmatched experience delivering end-to-end hydrogen ecosystems and specialised equipment.

Providing specialised solutions to NEM clients, this division also leverages some of the country’s most experienced power systems experts to help clients transition to a renewables-based future. From the connection agreement process to front-end design and network modelling, manufacturing, construction, commissioning and validation, Pacific Energy provides support throughout the project lifecycle.

Our connected assets

Pacific Energy Connected owns and operates two NEM connected assets, the Blue Rock Dam hydroelectric power station and Nova gas power station, both located in Victoria, which deliver dispatchable electricity to the network.

This division also owns and operates the Canberra Hydrogen Refuelling Facility, located in Fyshwick in Canberra’s south.

Acquired by Pacific Energy in April 2024, the facility was the very first publicly available hydrogen refuelling station in Australia when it officially launched in 2021.

Learn more about how this important facility supports the city’s growing fleet of zero emission vehicles powered by hydrogen here.
