In 2017, Pacific Energy was contracted to supply power to the Pilbara Minerals’ Pilgangoora Lithium-Tantalum Project.
In 2021, Pilbara Minerals further contracted Pacific Energy to construct, operate and maintain a 6MW solar array based on our established track record to design and safely deliver turnkey energy projects.
The hybrid power generation facility, which commenced operations at the end of 2022, is estimated to displace 3.8 million litres of diesel per annum, reducing carbon emissions by approximately 9,900t per year over the 15-year contract.
