About Us

Pacific Energy is a market leader in the provision of sustainable distributed energy

Operating for over 40 years, and with owned assets at 47 national sites, Pacific Energy currently has 750MW under contract, making us a market leader by scale in the provision of remote, off-grid energy in Australia. Over time, we have built 93 power stations, totalling over 1.1GW in delivered energy infrastructure.

We specialise in designing, building, owning and operating power generating assets for mining companies, businesses, townships and state-owned utilities across Australia, as a trusted partner from concept right through project life.

We put our customers at the centre of everything we do, ensuring we provide bespoke energy solutions which minimise emissions and maximise efficiencies.

As a trusted partner at the forefront of clean energy solutions and the latest technology, we pride ourselves on the unique and unrivalled position of complete in-house experience and capability across all energy technologies and capabilities. We take pride in working with the world’s biggest suppliers while supporting local manufacturing and innovation.

In recent years, a series of strategic acquisitions and a change in ownership have significantly enhanced the strength, breadth and capabilities of our business

Our growth has been bolstered by the acquisitions of KPS (2009), Nova Power (2017), Contract Power (2018), Hybrid Systems (2020), CPE Switchboards and MVLV Power Solutions (2021), and Digital Intelligence and ENGV (2022).
