The Pacific Energy owned Tropicana Borefields Power Station, near the western edge of the Great Victoria Desert in Western Australia, has been powering the Tropicana Gold Mine Borefields since 2013.

For this project Pacific Energy designed and built a fully transportable engine hall and switch room. This design has many advantages over a containerised / modular approach and also meant the client has flexibility to relocate the station in the future.
