The Pacific Energy owned Jaguar Power Station, near Leonora in Western Australia, has been powering the Jaguar Nickel mine since 2019.
Pacific Energy purchased the power station from the mine site owner and then carried out major overhauls on the gas engines and upgraded the gas supply infrastructure and controls system. This has resulted in significantly improved reliability and less down time than the station provided prior to being Pacific Energy owned and operated.
