WELCOME TO PACIFIC ENERGY

Remote Power

Remote power is our core business

For over 40 years, Australian mines, towns and communities have depended on Pacific Energy for their off-grid power supply.

It’s a responsibility we have always taken very seriously, with safe and reliable power delivery as the key objectives of our business.

In 2021, the integration of our two iconic remote power generation businesses, Contract Power Group and KPS Power Generation, brought together a collective 65 years of specialist off-grid power generation experience both in Australia and overseas, resulting in a single company trading as Pacific Energy Pty Ltd.

Our remote energy experience, and close working relationships with customers, have helped us grow into an Australian market leader in off-grid power provision. We own and operate 49 power stations, with 929MW of contracted capacity. In total, we have constructed 103 stations, delivering energy infrastructure totalling 1.4GW.

We take pride in working with the world’s biggest clients and suppliers while supporting local manufacturing and innovation.

Build Own Operate & Turnkey Solutions

Pacific Energy specialises in providing a turnkey service of design, installation, and operation of assets to meet client’s requests and requirements. We have proven ability to carry out all in house design, vast experience in real world installations and knowledge on what makes an economical and efficient power station.

Each one of our power stations is purpose built, utilising OEM equipment that is significantly modified and enhanced and customised to suit the remote environment it will be operating in, ensuring superior reliability and performance.

We simplify the complex undertaking of designing, building, operating and maintaining a remote power station into one, streamlined process from project concept to completion. We are your sole point of contact from beginning to end with minimal reliance on subcontractors.

We provide full turnkey solutions incorporating:

Renewable Energy

As the world moves increasingly towards the use of renewable energy, Pacific Energy is committed to growing our portfolio of hybrid and renewable power station projects across Australia.

Pacific Energy works collaboratively with Hybrid Systems Australia to strive for the perfect solution to the increasing number of requests for renewable energy sources and in providing solutions for the future, meet the increased demand for low-cost power supplies, reduction targets and reduced reliance on fossil fuel power generation.
