The Pacific Energy owned Thunderbox Power Station, near Leinster in Western Australia, has been providing power to the Thunderbox Gold Mine since 2015.
The high efficiency gas power station has recently been expanded via a new 17.5MW station B and bus tie infrastructure, complete with Caterpillar 3520H 2500kW generators, overhead crane and the latest cooling system design.
