The Pacific Energy owned DeGrussa Power Station, near Meekatharra in Western Australia, has been powering the DeGrussa Gold-Copper Mine since 2012.
At commencement, Pacific Energy provided a power solution consisting of a 22MW diesel-powered station. In 2016 the station was converted to a Hybrid power station, where 27MW of diesel generation was integrated with 10.8MW of solar and 6MW of battery. The end result was the largest diesel/solar/battery mine site power station in the world.
