Pacific Energy’s Vocational Education and Training (VET) program blends practical, skills-based learning with real-world experience.

These pre-apprenticeship courses provide credit towards trade qualifications and create a pathway to our apprenticeship program. Through this initiative, we identify promising apprenticeship candidates by assessing students’ knowledge and behaviours.

Like all of our programs, our VET selection process is designed to attract candidates from diverse backgrounds, ensuring we build teams with varied perspectives and experiences.

We offer positions across a range of disciplines, including engineering, health and safety, human resources, marketing, project management, legal, finance, data analysis, business and more. 

This program allows us to evaluate students’ knowledge and behaviours, identifying potential candidates for our Graduate program.

Our structured program delivers practical, skills-based learning and on-the-job experience through rotations across diverse business areas. We engage talented graduates in electrical engineering, electrical and renewable engineering, mechanical engineering, human resources, health and safety, and finance.
